Performance and commercial application of KC-103S presulfuration sulfur tolerant shift catalyst

Abstract
The catalytic performance of presulfuration sulfur tolerant shift catalyst KC-103S developed by Changyi Kate New Materials Co.,Ltd. was studied.The commercial application of the catalyst was carried out in 400 kt·a-1synthetic ammonia unit of Kuitun Jinjiang Coal Chemical Co.,Ltd.The results indicated that compared with the sulfur tolerant shift catalyst,KC-103S presulfuration sulfur tolerant shift catalyst possessed better conversion activity,stability and comprehensive performance;its start-up time was short,and the process was safe and reliable.
