Abstract
A series of Pd/C catalysts modified with different additives was prepared and the effects of additives on catalytic performance for hydrogenation of 4-methoxyphenol was investigated.The results showed that the modification of EDTA·2Na had little effect on Pd/C.After modification of NaNO2 and ZnCl2,the activity of the catalyst was obviously reduced,but the selectivity of the catalyst was improved.The activity and selectivity of the catalyst modified by NaHCO3,Na2CO3and Na2B4O7were both improved.Finally,the performance of Pd/C modified by Na2B4O7-ZnCl2 was the best.The selectivity of 4-methoxycyclohexanone was more than 97%,and the catalyst had excellent stability.
