The dry semiwater gas with addition of carbon disulfide, which is practically used in industry,was used as gas supply for sulfiding experiments. By means of TG,DTA,SEM+WDX,SEM+EDX and XRD techniques,isothermal and temperature programmed sulfiding experiments of sulfur resistant shift catalyst Co-Mo-K/Al2O3,its different components and their combinations (γ-Al2O3,MoO3, Co3O4, MoO3/Al2O3, CoO/Al2O3, K2CO3/Al2O3, Co-Mo/Al2O3, Co-K/Al2O3 and Mo-K/Al2O3) were carried out. Effect of temperature on the sulfiding processs were investigated. Sulfiding performance of different components were compared. The roles of different components in the sulfiding processs were discussed.
