Abstract882)      PDF(pc) (261KB)(1183)       Save
The nickel-passivating mechanism of no
n-toxic P-containing salts(PNP)is investigated using NAT,TPR and XRD combined
with quantum chemistry calculation. Results show that new compound NiP411 forms after adding PNP to nickel-deposited zeolite under the condition of
FCC regeneration.Because LUMO energy of NiP411 is much higher than that o
f NiO,NiP411 is more difficult to reduce than NiO under the condition of
FCC reaction. As the result, dehydrogenation activity of Ni is inhibited. This
is the nickel-passivating mechanism of PNP.

Abstract920)      PDF(pc) (331KB)(1140)       Save
Adsorption and decomposition of nitric oxide on Pt(110) surface and Ag-Pt bimetal surface was investigated using temperature desorption spectroscopy (TDS) in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV). Decomposition of nitric oxide on platinum centres on Pt-Ag surface at elevated temperature creates strongly-adsorbed species: Pt-Oad. Strongly-adsorbed oxygen species can spillover from Pt atom to Ag atom under experimental condition and desorb from catalyst surface at 630K.A model for spillover of Oad from Pt atom to Ag atom is proposed.

Abstract884)      PDF(pc) (343KB)(1279)       Save
A new non-toxic high-efficiency nickel-passivator was developed. In laboratory and riser experiment,a moderate amount of passivating agent containing element A1 and A2 was used to offset the detrimental effect on nickel.Passivating mechanism of element A1 is based on valence control of heavy metal nickel,i.e.,A1 reacts with metal nickel to form a stable crystalline compound A1 NiO3,which is difficult to be reduced in FCCU condition. As promotor,A2, in the form of A2O2 with weak alkalinity, adsorbs H2 under FCCU condition, resulting in decrease in hydrogen and coke in cracking process.Optimum ratio of Al and A2 to heavy metal was found to be 0.25∶0.1∶1.0.

This article describes development and application of T-49 solid phosoric acid catalyst for propylene oligomerization and benzene-propylene alkylation, including catalyst preparation, technical features, requirement on oligomerization feedstock and performance of the catalyst and technology. The catalyst is composed of silicon polyphosphates and boron polyphosphate that have continuous distribution of hydrolysis velocity.Key factors that influence on performance of the catalyst are polyphosphoric acid, elemental ratio and calcing condition.Appropriate P2O5/H2O ratio in the catalyst could be obtained through adjustment of polymerization degree distribution of polyphosphoric acid and polyphosphates during preparation.During running of industrial reactor, adjustment and control of catalyst activity and hydrolysis velocity can be achieved through adjustment of water content in feedstocks according to acidity of reaction products and by the values given by a specially developed isopleth figure for acidity of reaction products,so that the catalyst exhibits appropriate activity and rather low rise speed of pressure drop through the bed.T49 catalyst has been successfully put into use in an industrial benzenepropylene oligomerization plant at Lanzhou Petroleum Processing & Chemical Complex with satisfactory result.
